How is your understanding of colour and shadow so good that you make colours that otherwise would be butt ugly look pleasant??

Incredible art as always! I’ve always wanted to know how you do that dramatic lighting with the grainy texture? It’s got this nice retro look to it

gradient mapping at some opacity together with a 2 or 3 px gausian blur and the tiniest bit of "bloom" (a blur at something like 70-150 px at some oppacity and Lighten layer mode) plus a noise layer

Youre so good with colours!! How do you manage to add all these different colours to one piece and make it looks so coherent and clean!? I can never find good resources for learning how to work with colour like this

I usually think my coloring looks very abstract and messy, so motivates a lot reading this rn
You should search for color palettes to inspire you, it helps me a lot! ♡
